The Human Torch (whose "real" name was Jonathan Lowell Spencer "Johnny" Storm) is a fictional character and superhero appearing in comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby, he is a member of the superhero team the Fantastic Four, debuting in november 1961.
